Development of the Cooperation within the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution — CLRTAP
RUSACO is the official site of the Swedish-Russian cooperation within CLRTAP.
During 2009-2013, most activities were conducted wtihint the bilateral cooperation project "Development of the Cooperation within the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution — CLRTAP", started in financed by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. Certain activities (development of the GAINS Russia model) were financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
Since 2015 cooperation activities are financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers. The project "GAINS and EMEP modelling in the Russian Federation: further developments at the regional level" comprises also Norwegian Meteorological Institute and Finnish Environmental Institute as partners.
The site is available in both English and Russian, and our aim is to reach decision makers and an initiated audience in the air pollution arena in the Russian Federation in order to raise the awareness of international air pollution. The site can be also interesting for international experts in air pollution issues.
